Can we use our house as a B&B

Can we use our house as a B&B?

Can you help us, we have recently been looking in two the possibility of running a Bed & Breakfast from our Home. It has three bedrooms but only one of them will be used as a Bed & Breakfast, its something we plan to do just in the summer months. We have applied to have our property listed in a number of directories and two have come back already asking to see evidence of liability insurance. When we telephoned our present insurance company, they threatened to cancel our insurance policy, can they do this, can you provide us with cover if they do?
