When cleaning your engagement ring it’s important to be careful with cleaning products you use. We recommend not using chemical-based cleaning products to clean your ring as they can speed up the action of the shine being removed from your engagement ring. When you’re looking to clean, we recommend keeping it simple and sticking with a water and soap solution and utilising a dish cloth along with a cleaning pen or soft bristle toothbrush. When you’re finally married your wedding band will join your engagement ring and they will rub together causing them to discolour quicker if you don’t have the right pairing. It’s important to consider how they sit together and choosing a pairing that complement each other. This ensures both engagement ring and wedding band can stay gleaming for longer.
